The first thing we are going to do is establish the etymological origin of the term pauper. In doing so we will discover that it emanates from Latin as it is made up of two Latin parts: the word "pauper", which can be translated as "poor"; and the suffix "-imo", which indicates the superlative.
Poor is an absolute superlative adjective that indicates the maximum degree of poverty. The term has its origin in the Latin word pauperrĭmus . For example: "The Argentine national team crushed a very poor Greek team by 108 to 51" , "I am going to file a complaint with the Consumer Defense: the service of this company is very poor" , "An uneducated and impoverished people is easier to dominate ” .
In addition to all the above, we would have to establish, therefore, that the word from which it is born extremely poor is poor. When she tries to take the superlative, she comes across the fact that she will have to form it in an irregular way.
Thus, in the rules of Castilian, it is established that the word in question is an irregular superlative as well as very salubrious, which is salubrious; lousy, which is bad; free, which is free, or epiquérrimo, which is epic.
In this way, it breaks with the rules imposed when forming superlatives that establish that, as a general rule, they will be created by placing the suffix “–ísimo” to the adjective in question. Among the most significant examples can be established: very clear, clear; very rare, rare; clever, ready; or very handsome, handsome, among others.
The notion of poor has several uses and meanings. The adjective can refer to the needy (who does not have what is necessary to live), to what is scarce or insufficient, to what has little value, the unhappy and unhappy or the short of spirit. All these meanings are enhanced when the concept of poor is raised to its maximum degree and becomes very poor (extremely poor).
In this sense, we could establish that there are many countries whose ordinary citizens are extremely poor because not only do they not have money, but they also lack the necessary and fundamental resources for day-to-day life such as water or electricity. In this case, for example, it could be established that there are very poor villages in Rwanda or Nigeria, for example.
To say that a soccer team showed a poor level indicates that that team played below its possibilities or that it was inferior to its rival. If the expression, on the other hand, refers to a very poor level, it is implying that the level of the game could not be lower and that it touched an unheard of or inexplicable floor.
The most common use of pauperism appears with the extreme poverty of a person or social group. A very poor community does not have what it takes to live with dignity and cannot meet its basic needs (food, housing, health, education, etc.). The living conditions or quality of life of these people, therefore, will be very bad and can only be improved with assistance from the State and civil society.
